The Dixie Center’s beautifully appointed performance hall is available for private rental for your wedding ceremony, large meeting, music or dance recital, theatrical event and more. The performance hall seats 337, the balcony 233. Seating in the auditorium and balcony is raked so each of your guests get the “best seat in the house.” Rental of the Dixie includes general stage lighting and sound, but does not include charges for technical operators, running crews, or additional equipment.     Hunky Dory, an independent film from Southern Circuit Film Tour by Michael Curtis Johnson, tells the story of Sidney, a glam rock dilettante forced to look after his 11-year-old son full-time after his ex-girlfriend disappears, . His ‘cool dad’ facade quickly falls apart and his life goes into full tailspin as he struggles to let go of his rock-and-roll lifestyle.
