  • Beauty and the Beast, Jr.
    10:00 am-12:00 pm
    06/21/16

For the first time, Ruston Community Theatre will produce a summer junior musical, sponsored by the Ruston Kiwanis Club and directed by Steele Moegle. Based on the Disney animated classic, Beauty and the Beast, Jr is adapted from the hit Broadway musical to accommodate a younger cast. Tickets are $5 for general seating. Performance continues daily through Thursday, June 23.

Belle, a beautiful, but misunderstood village girl, finds herself trapped in an enchanted castle by a hideous and tyrannical beast. Little does she know that the Beast is actually a prince under a powerful enchantment, awaiting true love to break the curse. With the help of the servants, who themselves are turning into household objects under the castle’s spell, she is able to look past the outward appearance and see the inner beauty of the beast.
